Natural Remedies for chronic pain suffers that really work!

What a pain in the neck, do I have to live like this?

Are their natural remedies for chronic pain & do they work? As an anesthetist I specialize in pain relief for my patients, and more specifically relief using natural supplements as an adjunct to prescribed medication.

All prescribed medications we currently use come from a natural source. Una de gato, cat's claw, is where tylenol was derived from. Tylenol works by blocking the pain signals in the brain but it is associated with liver dysfunction if used in excess. Unlike narcotics, tylenol has no dependency associated with it.

Opium is how we derived morphine, dilaudid, ect. These pain killers function at the mu-receptor, the pain hub of the central nervous sytem. And again are affiliated with side effects including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, blood pressure, and cardiac abnormalities.

There are other principles that are extremely effective and natural. All of the following fuction via neuromodulation. Neuromodulation is the bodies ability to trick the neuronal connection thus distracting it from the problem. When you get hurt the first response is you run it. The rubbing changes temperature, pressure, and touch receptors which are in close proximity to pain receptors and tells your body I must not be in that much pain because I am receiving other signals that distract the brain from the inital signal, pain. Essential oils that have a menthol component like peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, and camphor all facilitate this Neuromodulation when rubbed at the source. These work particularly well for back pain. This is why icey hot, TENS units, compression clothing, and back braces work.

Using the concept of Neuromodulation, I invented the No Mo Nausea Band. The first and only natural way to stop headaches and migraines instantly using 3 natural principles: acupressure, aromatherapy, and transdermal peppermint oil. The fastest way to the brain is thru the nose, and is why it functions as a calcium channel blocker to the vasculature and increases oxygenation. Transdermal peppermint oil absorption helps increase gastromotility and decreases the nausea sensation often experienced by headache sufferers. Acupressure at the P6 point of the human wrist provided electrical stimulation to the median nerve increases beta endorphins. These happy hormones help shorten the duration of the migraine and increase the onset of another one. Ultimately the No Mo Nausea band provides a change in temperature, pressure, and touch receptors to neuromodulate the brain into not having a headache or nausea. What is Toxic Shock Syndrome? Is my teenager at risk?

Tampons & Toxic Shock Syndrome

Toxic shock syndrome is a rare, life-threatening complication of certain types of bacterial infections, often resulting from toxins produced by staph or strep bacteria.

Toxic S Syndrome has been linked to tampon overuse in women. Not changing the tampon regularly introduces bacteria into the vaginal canal and can be deadly.

Anyone can get it but there are more reported cases in females. Some of the common symptoms include nausea, vomiting, headaches, and abdominal pain.

The No Mo Nausea Band can relieve all those symptoms fast with its combination of both acupressure and peppermint aromatherapy. Luckily, the No Mo Nausea Bands come in both adult and kids sizes, so everyone can get relief when they need it! So make sure to get your No Mo Nausea Band today! Knowledge is power, so inform those who don't know they could be at risk.

Arthritis other name Still's Disease. Do you have joint pain? You may be at risk.

Is arthritis a disease?

Still's disease is a rare type of arthritis that includes signs and symptoms such as a sore throat, a salmon-colored rash and a high fever that spikes once or twice a day.  Joint pain usually develops a few weeks after. The cause of this disease is unknown but it is an inflammatory type of arthritis which can destroy affected joints, particularly the wrists. Some drugs used to treat this disease include: steroids, biological response modifiers, etc. However, the use of such medications can cause side effects such as nausea and vomiting.

The No Mo Nausea Band is natural, fast-acting, drug-free, and non-drowsy and can be used to treat these nausea and vomiting symptoms.  Other natural solutions include fish oil and microgestin for lubricating joints. Exercise, especially yoga, helps to provide better range of motion. Acupuncture, electrical stimulation also found in the No Mo Nausea Band, helps to reduce inflammation at the site. Don't let Still's Disease be a pain in your neck, help your joints out and give them what nature intended.

Heart Attack, Chronic Chest Pain, & Angina: What's the Difference?

No pain, just gain!

Angina is a term used for chest pain. It is caused by reduced blood flow to the heart muscle. People who experience angina usually have squeezing, pressure, heaviness, tightness or pain in their chest. Angina is a symptom of coronary artery disease and can be a recurring problem or sudden, acute health concern. Symptoms include: chest pain or discomfort, fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, etc. A heart attack, also known as a myocardial infarction, is when due to a lack of oxygen a portion of the heart muscle dies or just stops working.

Most people with frequent angina are put on high blood pressure medication and given Nitroglycerin, a vasodilator to get more oxygen to parts of the heart that needs it. The most common side effect of angina and its prescription medication is nausea and vomiting? Did you know that peppermint contains a natural calcium channel blocking activity? The No Mo Nausea Band uses acupressure at P6 to target all 4 different receptors in the puke center of the brain to stop nausea before it starts. The peppermint aromatherapy smell gives instant nausea relief due to the direct pathway to the brain.
