Conclusion: The NoMo Nausea band when properly placed reduced nausea by 50% and vomiting by 88.8% following endoscopic procedures. Soothing cool peppermint scent infused into a properly placed wristband at the P6 point causes a 50% greater reduction in nausea and vomiting when compared to complementary & alternative medicine alone.
Specifically, postoperative nausea reduction had a reduction of 59.2% vs. 27%, and the reduction in vomiting was three times greater than acupressure alone (90.9% vs. 36.3%).
A notable reduction in headache and migraine scores were also seen (with soothing cool peppermint scent infused scented bracelet, NoMo Migraine).

Conclusion: In females with a history of motion sickness, P6 complementary & alternative medicine increased tolerance to experimental nauseogenic stimuli, and reduced the total number of symptoms reported. Study results were statistically significant and have shown tremendous success in participants who suffer from motion sickness and dizziness in motorized vehicles (such as cars and boats).

Conclusion: A total of 76% of the patients receiving soothing cool peppermint scent reported changes in the severity of gastrointestinal symptoms compared with 19% receiving placebo. Peppermint relaxes GI muscle by reducing cellular calcium influx in the intestines. Menthol also stimulates bile flow, and reduces the tone in the esophageal sphincter.
