Nausea Remedies Cancer Patients
Chemotherapy, Cancer, & Concerns
Radiation therapy uses ionizing radiation for killing malignant cells associated with cancer. It can also be used as adjunct therapy to prevent tumor reoccurrence, trigeminal neuralgia, acoustic neuromas, severe thyroid eye disease, pterygium, pigmented villonodular synovitis, prevention of keloid scar growth, vascular restenosis, and heterotopic ossification. These non-malignant conditions listed above still have the same side effects as radiation oncology: nausea, vomiting, weakness, ect. The NoMo Nausea Band is a non-pharmacological way of decreasing nausea & vomiting from the side effect of the healthy tissue absorbing this toxic radiation. Please see the diagram for a detailed description of how the No Mo Nausea Band help with Radiation induced nausea. Give your loved ones a better quality of life. Note that chemotherapy induced nausea is not relieved by vomiting, and and there are 3 different receptors activated in the vomiting cascade. This is why the traditional pharmacologic treatments start to have less and less effect because the receptors are on overdrive causing the need for higher dosages of anti-nausea medication without giving paralleled relief. Try natural solutions like the NoMo Nausea Band, winner of surgical product of the year nominee, ginger, and other essential oils. This post is dedicated to one of our Kickstarter donors, who has had radiation treatment for three autoimmune conditions. We wish her the best & NoMo Nausea ever!
